You don’t have to push the mullet behind your ears … you heard me correctly. If you are a Camaro owner, you can drive to any Papa John’s location today, August 26th, and get a free large one-topping pizza.

So last weekend was our annual fantasy football draft. But we don’t do online. We’re spread out mostly on the eastern part of the country, and attendance at the draft is mandatory. So I was wheels down in Providence, R.I. on Friday night close to midnight and arrived at my buddy’s house in Southborough, Massachusetts close to 1 a.m. EST.

Another year, and another SEC Media Days in the books.
I love the affair. I enjoy the fever. This year for the first time we streamed successfully from the internet/radio room at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover. Props to our team for moving that initiative since I had a hard time opening up e-mail in Yahoo. Yet there we were, for the first time ever, streaming head coach Nick Saban flawlessly just seconds after his words were spoken.

While we’ve been plugging away during this quiet offseason, it’s time to crank up the burners next week at the SEC Media Days and not slow down until sometime in January. It’s amazing how the pace goes from crawl to full-on sprint in a matter of hours.
